Meeting of the Agents of the member states before the Court of Justice of the European Union

From 27 to 29 September 2018 an informal meeting of the agents of the member states before the Court of Justice of the European Union took place in Vienna. This meeting takes place twice a year in the country holding the rotating presidency of the Council of the European Union. It offers a platform for the agents to exchange experiences and deepen their knowledge on current legal developments, in particular regarding the case law of the Court of Justice of the European Union. Regular exchange on current questions also serves to strengthen cooperation between the agents of the member states.

The meeting that took place under the Austrian Presidency of the Council of the European Union was accompanied by a scientific fringe programme. The participants were able to exchange practical experience in workshops and inform each other about current developments in an informal setting.
