Licences – visual material

The Federal Chancellery of Austria has acquired all rights of use from the authors of digital images published on the website of the Austrian Presidency of the Council of the European Union in 2018. The images made available on the website may – provided the source is acknowledged – be downloaded and used free of charge by anyone for the purpose of political reporting in the form of:

  • press publications
  • printed publications
  • film and television publications or
  • online and multimedia publications.

This applies to private, non-commercial use as well as to non-commercial use in the area of education for democratic citizenship. Any use for commercial purposes, in particular for promotional purposes, is not permitted.
