European Competition Day: Competition law – thinking outside the box

Austria will keep competition policy high up on the agenda during the Presidency of the Council. Therefore, the Federal Ministry for Digital and Economic Affairs is pleased to host the European Competition Day. The conference will focus – starting with underlining the aims of competition law – on issues in the value chain and vertical questions. One extra panel will also discuss the health market. Margarete Schramböck, Austrian Federal Minster for Digital and Economic Affairs, Margrethe Vestager, European Commissioner for Competition, and Theodor Thanner, Director General of the Austrian Federal Competition Authority, will open the conference.
