Austria takes over the Presidency of the Council of the European Union for the third time on 1 July 2018. We welcome all European citizens and say: SERVUS EUROPE!

A day for the entire population with an extensive programme from 10.00 AM on the Planai and in the valley.

On the mountain

From 10.00 AM: free ride with the European branded cable cars to the top of the Planai

Mountain picnic and an informative EU Trail along the panorama trail on the Planai.
Get your picnic blanket and your bag filled with regional and other Austrian products!

Summit of Federal Chancellor Kurz, Prime Minister Borissov and European Council President Tusk – symbolic handover of the Presidency of the Council of the European Union from Bulgaria to Austria.

Numerous culinary and musical highlights at the mountain restaurants.

In the valley

Musical entertainment in the pedestrian zone in the city centre of Schladming.

From 5.00 PM: lnlet & warm-up in the Planai stadium.
From 7:00 PM: Concert "Europe LIVE" in the Planai stadium
the biggest band in Europe comes together - musicians play LIVE in concert.

A first-of-its-kind: A concert with Austrian institutions and artists together with musicians from all over Europe. Hundreds of passionate musicians, singers and choirs from all over Europe will unite in the Planai stadium. Together they perform Austrian and international hits!
