Ars Antiqua Austria
Ars Antiqua Austria is staging a festive concert featuring music by Heinrich Ignaz Franz von Biber, a violin virtuoso and the favourite composer of the Habsburg emperor Leopold I. The ensemble is conducted by Gunar Letzbor, a leading figure in baroque music, whose extraordinary talent never fails to excite audiences.
With Gunar Letzbor – violin and conducting; Hubert Hoffman – flute; Jan Krigovsky – violone; Erich Traxler – organ and harpsichord.
BOZAR MUSIC is presenting the concert as a coproduction with Oude Muziek Utrecht and in collaboration with the Royal Academy of Science, Letters and Fine Arts of Belgium.
